The Dress

This dress was ultimate. I wanted to look beautiful on my wedding day, but also didn't want it to be all about the dress. I put the Nia 2.0 on in the morning and forgot about it for the rest of the day. Such a comfortable, breathable, simple, beautiful dress. The label is a size 'S'.

To make it my own I had a custom made skirt. The skirt has three layers of organza silk, attached with a minimal satin waistband. It secures at the back with a hidden zip and two small hidden clasps. The waist band measures 26inches/66cm - This was quite snug on me, however I was grateful for this on the day as it didn't swivel around. The back measures 62inches in length from the band down to the longest point of the train. There are shorter layers at the front, with an opening as well to allow ease of movement and to also show the dress underneath.

The dress was altered for my height, I stand at 166cm with 8cm heels. Some excess fabric was also removed from under the bust/waist area. This ensured the dress sat flush without bunching of material.

The dress was cleaned the next day per the instructions. There is a small about of 'bobble' in the material on the hem of the dress where it has had friction against the floor/shoes/magical pine forrest. Not noticeable unless you knew of it. Would easily trim off with small scissors.

The organza silk skirt has a couple of small dirt marks which you have to search for, would most likely hand wash out.
