The Dress

I love love LOVE this dress and the thought of preserving it in a box, at the back of my wardrobe just doesn’t seem right. This dress is exquisite, it shines and for that reason, it needs to be enjoyed… not stored in a box!

I would love someone to be able to wear this dress and experience all the joys I did when I wore it. The compliments were endless and I have never felt more beautiful!

This dress is the Haralda Gown by New Zealand designer Jessica Bridal in her ‘Couture Victoria Range'. It is contemporary and very classic. Lace is to die for and pearl buttons up the back are simply beautiful. The gorgeous under layer is Champagne coloured as seen in the photos and the lace is Ivory. There is tiny clear sequin detail on lace which gives the dress a slight sparkle up close.
I have a lovely over the face veil available also from Jessica Bridal Newmarket.

I had the bust lace slightly changed near the shoulders as I found this flowed more elegantly on my figure.

I had the dress professionally dry-cleaned. I was nervous about this process, so used the dry-cleaners that Jessica Bridal use for all their clients. The money paid to have it done professionally by a trusted business, has been worth it as the dress has come up beautifully!

There are a few very small marks and tiny pulls around the hem, due to being worn, however these are hardly noticeable (even when you look) and you can’t see them when the dress is on.

I’m a size 6-8 , the dress was altered to fit me snug. It has a little give/stretch.

My measurements are: Bust: 83cm, Waist: 66cm, Hips: 94cm
Shoulder to shoulder: 39cm Sleeve length: 52cm
Waist to floor: 118cm
