The Dress

This is a Loulou strapless dress with a satin bodice and organza layered skirt- it comes with a beautiful beaded lace cape sleeved bolero that I had made to go with it as I wanted a small sleeve- this has a satin bow belt that ties at the back, but the dress also comes with a separate belt. I have never worn anything like this dress- it was such a special treat to wear.

It's a size 10, with alterations only on the top, where I had the bodice taken in slightly for bust size (B)- I am a size 10-12 normally- the dress is fitted at the top, but then falls loosely from the waist down. The dress length was unaltered- I am 5 ft 9, and wore 2 inch kitten heels on the day.

I wanted a romantic dress that was beautiful and floaty but not too formal- this was so pretty, but so comfortable to wear. The gently neckline on the bolero, with delicate beading, and the layered organza skirt really made me feel like a lady for the day...I had been looking at Naomi Neoh dresses initially as I loved how romantic and elegant they were, but realised I just couldn't justify the cost. The shop I was looking in recommended this LouLou dress as a beautiful make that made a similar style- this was had been commissioned specially by the shop.
