The Dress

This dress has not been abused by an evening dancing reception as I only wore it for a short ceremony and reception on my wedding day. As it was ordered brand new it is therefore in exceptionally good condition. It has been cleaned anyway and comes in the original zip-sealed dress bag.

The dress has a 1920's vintage look with a high sheer neckline and subtle beading in an unusual linear pattern. The back has a deep V which meets the waistband and is surrounded by lines of glass beads, very 1920's/1930's. As it reaches the floor the material is lovely and flowy with a decent weight to it so it moves in a lovely way as you walk. The beading finishes at the hips so the skirt part is really simple but gives a lovely silhouette. The dress is double lined and has a structured body so a bra isn't needed, and the whole dress has a sheer outer layer giving it a really delicate appearance and movement.

Dress was ordered a size 10 but was taken in a fair amount so is fairly petite, size 8, and the neckline was altered - brought out into more of a boat shape (rather than it's original t-shirt shape). Therefore you won't find a dress exactly like this anywhere else on the internet!

This dress is so soft and comfortable to wear and move about in, I would be so happy if someone else could love it on their wedding day as much as I did!
