I had laces created on the back rather than the buttons and was so glad I did as between the final fitting and the wedding I lost some weight - the lacing allowed the dress to be completely fitted and I wasn't left tugging up the dress all day! This also allows a size up and down - I was a 10 on the day but it could also be let out for someone closer to a 14.
Worn once. Dry cleaned.
