The Dress

Bertossi Brides create the most elegant wedding gowns using lace and silk sourced from the best quality Italian suppliers. This 'Candice' dress was handmade in Brisbane by Bertossi Brides (Paddington Weddings) with Italian guipure lace and a natural silk satin with silk georgette. My dress was finalised in June 2016 (worn on June 11) and professionally dry cleaned by Leon's at Woolloongabba (commenced within three days of wear). I've recently collected this dress and it is in pristine condition with no sign of wear.

This dress was absolutely spot on in terms of style, fit, length (172cm bride), ease and comfort. The top of the dress is form-fitting around the bust, meaning no bras or bustiers are required on your special day. Extra lace detail has been included to form delicate capped sleeves shoulders and beautiful lace to silk flow in the waist. The 'Candice' dress is complemented most by a full 6m silk skirting that looks spectacular in movement and a high point of comment for many guests who 'just wanted to feel the silk fabric'. It has the most beautiful fit that makes you feel so graceful and at the same time the dress is so light and free to enjoy your day!
