The Dress

Karen Willis Holmes Prea Gown (size 6 AU), worn once for my wedding in October.

The Prea gown was a stunning wedding dress to wear. Features a strapless sweetheart neckline with a panelled fishtail which extends to a flowing train. Corset, very heavily boned and covered with buttons on the back bodice of the gown (there is no need to wear a bra). There is also a bustle for ease of walking and dancing at the reception as well as a wrist loop which makes it easy to hold and carry the train over your arm if required.

The fabric is Heavy Twill, fully lined 100% polyester satin lining which is extremely comfortable and light to wear and gives off a shimmer in the light.

I am a small size 6, 155cm tall (I wore 12cm heels on the day), with a bust size of 10B. If you are petite like me, this dress will be perfect.

Alterations were made to the dress by a Karen Willis Holmes seamstress including added bust-enhancers (which can be removed) and some seam adjustments to ensure a slimline fit.

The grown has been professionally dry cleaned at Bridal Silver Service in Sydney, the dry cleaner recommended by Karen Willis Holmes, and is in impeccable condition. It is boxed and ready to be worn. Please feel free to come and view or try on the dress.
