The Dress

This champagne/gold multi-layered tulle and gold lace one-shoulder ball gown has the most beautiful shape. The details on this dress are amazing and I have since to see such beauty on any other wedding dress. The structure gives you a tiny waist the line of the dress in back does wonders. It was so comfortable all day, also very comfortable to sit in during the meal.

This colour, while not the traditional white, is perfect for an autumn/winter wedding. My wedding was in the south of France in late sept and this dress captured the rustic elegance I dreamed of. I didn't go looking for this type of dress but when I tried it on, I could not imagine myself in anything else. However, it was one of the first few dresses I tried on so I went to a few other boutiques but could not get this dress out of my head. A week or so later I was back to take this beauty home.

A lovely feature of this dress is the full length veil, I wore it attached the brooch on the shoulder of the dress which gave really lovely lines and flow as I walked up the aisle, it also avoided your hair being pulled every time you received a hug. You can detach it for dancing later and it gives the dress a refreshed look. However you can of course attach it to a clasp and wear it in your hair. The veil is the same colour as the dress, gold/ champagne, and as the light catches it during the day it creates a beautiful ethereal and delicate glow.
