The Dress
This is the Bliss 1522 dress by Monique Lhuillier. Delicate floral lace is re-embroidered on a curve-refining trumpet gown for a timeless take on elegance and romance. The strapless bodice dips ever-so-slightly into an understated sweetheart neckline to flatter any bust, while smart tailoring draws in the waist to achieve perfect hourglass contours before the skirt flares mid-thigh into a dramatic trumpet silhouette. There is a back zip with fabric-covered buttons adding to the intricacy of the dress.
The original chapel length train was fashioned into a "puddle train" so that it nicely falls behind the bride to make a statement but makes walking and maneuvering a breeze. A small bustle was added so that the puddle train can be pinned up for dancing. An ivory ribbon was sewn across the natural bust adding contrast and accentuating the waist. The bust was opened to allow for more coverage - this could easily be taken in.
