The Dress

Beautiful Monique Lhuillier wedding dress from her Spring 2016 collection, worn for my November 2016 wedding. ‘Veronique’ is a romantic style, ball gown silhouetted dress with a plunging sheer V-neck and capped sleeves. The bust is fitted to the waist with cups inserted so no bra is necessary. The back is sheer to the waist, with delicately embroidered beaded and sequined detail. Countless layers of embroidered tulle fall down from the waist, combining together to give the dress a voluminous shape. (added bonus: the layers flatteringly cover your stomach so you can actually enjoy your wedding food!) The train is rounded and full, forming a beautiful shape to the back of the dress coming down the aisle. The detail in this dress is stunning, complete with thousands of beautiful beads and sequins. Somehow, it manages to maintain an understated beauty - the perfect combination of romance and elegance.

Condition: The dress has been professionally dry cleaned at Blue and White Dry Cleaners, Neutral Bay who specialise in wedding dresses. There are a few small tears at the bottom of the dress. They are barely noticeable thanks to the layers of tulle underneath. It has also been stuffed to preserve the shape of the dress.
