The Dress

After searching for the dress I had in my mind, but was unable to find, I came across this elegant combination at Karen Willis Holmes. It was absolutely perfect from the second I put it on - I just loved it.

The fabric is a gorgeous ivory twill, fully lined with satin, a sweetheart structured bodice and low back with tiny satin buttons. (Bust enhancers are able to be added to the bodice if you desire, however I left the bodice as is on the day.) The skirt is fitted around the thigh and then curves out into an incredible train (which bustles up easily with four satin ribbons underneath for dancing).

It is fitted and flattering in all the right places, and was just so comfortable on the day. I have had so many people comment on what a beautiful dress it is! I will be sad to see it go, but also excited to see it take shape on someone else and make their day as magical as mine was.

I purchased the dress towards the end of last year and had a few alterations prior to my wedding, 9th March 2017.

I'm 158cm tall and wore 3.5" blue velvet heels, as well as a single tier, cathedral length Karen Willis Holmes veil (for the ceremony only). It would fit a size 8-10, and B, C, D cups, depending on bust enhancers.

The dress has been dry cleaned by Silver Service Bridal, recommended by Karen Willis Holmes. Veil included.
