The Dress

This stunning Italian silk & imported one of a kind lace, thigh length corseted gown was my dream dress. Handcrafted in a little Australian studio to perfection.

The dress has a silk champagne underlay, with ivory lace & diamond tulle, to create a light illusion when the sun hits it. I got married in a simple elopement to my family farm & absolutely loved how the train glided over the fields and the colour of the dress due to the structure of the multi layer skirt (tulle & silk bi color) caught the sunlight!

I wore my dress with Camilla & Marc sneakers, long striped socks and my comfiest pair of undies (that's right ladies, I did not need to buy any specific underwear for the day!). Due to the unique lining around the corset, it is very figure accentuating, comfortable and in no way was I having to adjust myself or pull the dress up all night.

The street size is an AU Size 10 but I am usually a very tall 8-10 AU and the corset back allows for any weight fluctuation right up to the day. As I am tall, this meant also that the dress has not been altered in any way in length, so you can have the skirt taken in to suit your height without any concern. I can recommend for you an amazing dressmaker who would happily do this for you if you need.

The sleeves are removable/optional. I can include the tulle for them so you have the option.

The veil was custom made due to the colouring of the dress & is a two layer cathedral length diamond tulle - and seriously the softest thing I've ever touched! I didn't use the short layer for over my face, it was just to add dimension. This can be removed if the long single layer veil is your thing.

Really I could rave for ages over the material, attention to detail in this dress but it's probably just easier you come and meet her!

I'm super sad to have to part with her but I honestly want someone to love how they look and feel as much as I did on the day!

*only worn once for 2hours and has been dry cleaned. No damage on dress or flaw whatsoever.

I requested additional tulle from the studio & had my mother-in-love attach the little off the shoulder sleeves seen in some of the photos. I have also uploaded pics from the final fitting without the added sleeves :)

This is completely removable without any impact on the dress or can be altered to fit your arms. I thought the addition of simple tulle off shoulder added to the romance of the dress.
