The Dress

This is a gown from the Vera Wang White collection. It was initially designed as a halter top, but I wanted to make it a bit more unique. So I had a professional tailor cut the halter straps and add boning to the chest area so it's free standing. As you can see from the photos I had no problems all night keeping the girls in despite there being no halter straps. The boning works well to keep everything together. I am 5'11", 32B bra, size 4 waist, and size 6 in the hip area. This dress fit me perfectly. I made no alterations to the length, waist or hip area. I also had a french bustle added in the back for when I would dance. I am selling this with the slip (size small) that will give the skirt more volume. I wore it, but it's not attached to the dress and is optional. If you're looking for an elegant ball gown with a design element that makes it unique this is the dress for you.
