Classic tailored mikado silk dress with boat neckline and natural waist from Aire Barcelona - timelessly elegant, flattering and most importantly, comfortable!! Cannot stress how important comfort is on your big day. This dress also has deep hidden pockets, perfect for tucking away a compact or lipstick.
Purchased June 2017 for a September 2017 wedding. Worn for only a few hours (I changed into a different dress for the reception). Dress originally cost £1,750, not inclusive of alterations.
Professionally dry cleaned (£130 value), and ready for a new bride to enjoy.
Alterations made: 1) train was slightly shortened from original cathedral length; 2) two pieces of boning were removed from front of bodice for a smoother look; 3) length hemmed - I am 5'9" (175 cm) and wore 3" heels (7.5 cm). Size unaltered otherwise.
