The Dress

I had this dress custom made with a designer in toronto named Jim Seale. His design company is called Hoax Couture. NO one will have the same dress as you, it is a completely original design that we created together! I picked out the lining fabric and the lace overlay. The lining is soft and somewhat stretchy. This makes the dress quite comfortable. The lace overlay is so lovely and also slightly stretchy. This makes the cap sleeves comfortable and you can move your arms around easily. The lace pattern is detailed and beautiful, you can see it in one of the close up pictures above. There is a 2 inch scallop boarder on the lace and this is displayed nicely at the bottom of the dress and on the train. The bust is for a C/D cup. It's a mermaid fit and great for anyone who wants to show off their backside.

The bustle will have to be fixed, it broke during the reception, however the string is still there, it just needs to be sewn back in property, seems like an easy enough fix. Since this dress was custom made there is no official size, it is most likely an 8-10 but I would say closer to 8 in that if it is a little big on someone it is easier to take in than if it is to small it is harder to take out. The dress needs to be dry cleaned but I did not walk around outside too much, meaning the bottom is not dirty at all. As well I do not sweat so the armpits are not stained or gross. I mean definitely dry clean it but it is already in great shape. No stains either! I am willing to dry clean it if that with help with the sale. I live in downtown Toronto right near a subway stop so I am very willing to meet in person in a public place if you want to peep the dress first. Cheers!
