The Story

Be a princess on your wedding day. This dress is the “Cinderella” dress from Alfred Angelo’s Disney Fairy Tale bridal range. Designer’s description: Cinderella's fairy tale comes alive with a classic ballgown of tulle and glitter net over taffeta, inspired by Cinderella's glass slipper. The draped criss-cross bodice features a romantic sweetheart neckline accented with sparkling crystal beading and rhinestones.

The empire line suits almost any body shape, but especially those with curvy hips as it is a very flattering line and is accented by a sweetheart neckline. The dress is done up with a zipper so may need to be altered if it doesn’t fit right so that you have a snug fit and are as comfortable as possible on your big day.

There is embroidery on the bodice at the front only (great as it doesn’t rub on the insides of your arms!) The skirt has a layer of glitter-tulle as the second-top layer of tulle which gives a beautiful and subtle glitter and movement to the dress. My mum said that it looks like “fresh powder glittery snow on a sunny day” and because of this feature of the skirt the rest of the dress doesn’t need many additional features other than the beading which is there to make it pop!

Colour: Diamond White/Silver Alfred Angelo’s Disney Fairy Tale Bridal Range Size: 6 (Equivalent to size 12) – Designer sizing chart says bust:35 inches, waist 26, hip 37.5 (though hips have space in this dress)

Alterations: The dress was slightly altered as I have narrow waist, but can still be adjusted to suit your body. The dress is also able to be bustled or pinned up once you don’t want the train following you all night (just need to put the button in the right spot according to your height). I was able to dance through the night with it bustled up and despite there being lots of material it was easy to wear and I felt supported in it all evening even without a bra (straps are available to add if you prefer).

It can be worn without a hoop (or a small hoop), but the length needs to be hemmed to suit your height, taking into consideration if there is a hoop and the shoes you will be wearing. I am 167 cm tall, and would require 10cm heels.

This stunning dress was purchased for me but I am unfortunately to broad for it, label says a 6 but is definitely a 10-12.. can be altered as well. Perfect condition never worn to my wedding, need to sell to buy a dress that fits me. Price NEG
