The Dress

This fifties style is a waisted Rock-n-Roll length gown with boat neck, satin edged petticoats and a fixed bow front belt. The style really Audrey Hepburn and is fab on. The material is really really soft and the style really flattering, I looked like I had such a tiny waist! The front has a boat neck and the back is a mid/low back with buttons and a zip. It is ivory but a creamy ivory rather than a bright/whiteish ivory.

It is a size 12 but as I've noticed with many wedding dresses the sizes run small so this would be a small 12 or a normal 10 I'd say.

I bought this dress in a sample sale but I decided not wear it as it was just a little too tight on me so I wasn't fully comfortable and in the end I've bought another very similar dress. This one was an absolute bargain though.

It has a pen mark on it which I've been told will come out easily when dry cleaned (it does need to be dry cleaned as it's still in the same condition as when i took it home from the shop). To be COMPLETELY honest it is a sample dress and obviously isn't perfect but I was happy to buy and when dry cleaned i'm sure will be in tip top condition again. I'm not trying to make any money here, i just want to get back what I paid for it but it was a really hard decision on whether to sell it or keep it!
