The Dress

The beautiful Ophelia gown by Karen Willis Holmes is so flattering and comfortable.
The detailed bodice is fitted and beaded with pearls and boned to the waist.
There is an amazing embroidered overlay that scallops down over the dress to mid thigh where it flares out to layers of tule.
A beaded belt is included. Invisible zips and Satin covered buttons line the back of the gown with a small, elegant train that is not too hard to manage.

Perfect for a taller women (size 10) as I am 178cm tall and wore 9cm heels.

My dress is in immaculate condition and has been dry cleaned by Blue and White dry cleaners (couture profrssionals) which cost a small fortune( $590).

The dress itself was made to order at a size 10 with some minor alterations including adding length to the original dress. I got the dress hemmed to my height with shoes on and I took the top button in slightly around the bust as well as slightly at the hips for a firmer fit.

The dress can also be busselled onto the buttons, which looks super pretty to the point where you would think it was meant to be like that.

All alterations were done by KWH head fitter at the HQ in Newtown Sydney.
