The Dress

This dress is two dresses in one. The dress is made of medium weight silk and has an overskirt made of a semi-stiff mesh. It offers two dresses in one the ability to wear the dress with or without the overskirt. With the overskirt the dress has a soft, clean, A line shape. Without, a more sliming silhouette. I have shown photos of both ways as I removed the overskirt after sunset. It was a perfect weight for an early May wedding in Montalcino, Tuscany. The dress is very long (I am 5ft 10 and I wore 4 inch wedges)

I had the waist and lower back taken in. The dress has been dry cleaned. Some small marks remain a the bottom of the dress (up to 5-10cm up from the edge). However, with the overskirt you cannot see these. If they bother you, you can have the dress shortend as for most people the dress will be very long.
