The Dress

This dreamy dress is called Sietla from the collection so aptly titled "In the Name of Love" by Milla Nova. I bought the dress first hand in 2022 from The Wedding Club in London and only wore the dress a couple of hours over the ceremony and wedding breakfast before changing into another dress. The Sietla is inspired by the Berta 20-107 which retails at USD 11,350 (~GBP8,800).

The fit of the dress is ultra flattering, thanks to the corset at the back which is figure hugging and can be cinched to your liking. The end result is a really tapered silhouette of your torso. The dress is A-line so it covers up everything from your navel onwards, so the best part is no need to diet before the wedding as nothing will show!

This romantic dress fabric is sparkly throughout, but tasteful, with the right amount without looking tacky. The corset area is sheer whilst the train is pretty long with approx. 14 layers of mixed fabric. I felt like absolutely princess on my big day and I'm sure you will too! I got so many compliments from the time I tried it on in the wedding gown shop to alterations shop to my big day!

In terms of alteration, I'd shortened it to fit me after my 10cm heels at approx. 168-172cm. I kept my length very long as I knew I was going to sell my dress. I had my Jimmy Shoes heels on which no one got to see because my dress was simply too long. During alteration, I'd also added a bustle meaning the entire train can be lifted up to make it floor level. This costed quite a lot of money. The spaghetti straps were also shortened.
