The Dress
I love this dress! It is classified as a ballgown, but I’d say it’s in between ballgown and A-line. It has lace with some pearl and crystal beading, but did not feel overly busy to me. Just the right amount of flare to me! The buttons down the back were my favorite part! I carry most of my weight in my upper half, especially my belly. This dress made me feel super confident on my wedding day! I wasn’t concerned about my “problem area” and didn’t even have to be uncomfortable in a bunch of undergarments that squeeze everything in. I ended up needing to take it out a tiny bit on the upper half, but it fit perfectly everywhere else. It’s been worn once and doesn’t have any damage; professionally dry cleaned.
Alterations
Had to take it out about an inch, just at the bust/back area. You can see the added mesh at the back in my pictures. Should easily be taken out to be a true size 16 again. Added bustles to the train.
