The Dress

This dress was amazing throughout the night! It was so comfy, cool for the summer, and lightweight so it was easy to move around. Loved the little bit of sparkle it has in the embroidery, but not overpowering. Just the right amount of tool and flow. Felt so elegant and free.

This dress was altered by the bridal shop's preferred seamstress. It's a long flowy dress, very very comfortable. So easy to move in. It's got a sheer embroidered top, and we put nude organza to line the top in the front so you can go braless. This was done by the bridal shop. In alterations added soft cups as well. It's a v-cut in the front and back. The tulle skirt is an A-line, lined, and has some embroidery at the top half, the back has a small train, which easily bustles. There is a 3 button bustle which is intact. The buttons and the button loops are very, very discreet, so might take a moment to find, but makes it discreet when the train is out. The dress zippers up with two buttons at the waist. The top button loop needs to be fixed, but both buttons are still sewn on the dress. The skirt part was hemmed for a 5'4" person wearing 2-inch heels. The dress was also taken in around the waist and bust & shoulders. I wear a size 10-12 dress (34DDD/36DD bra size). They recommended a size 16 wedding dress size, so it was taken in a bit.

The dress has been dry-cleaned. A couple of very, very light discolorations at the very bottom edge of the tulle on the skirt. The main dress has no stains. Beading/embroidery is intact.

The dress comes with a medium/medium short (goes past the waist, but not to the bottom of the dress) plain veil with a satin lining, and a hair comb. (original value $356) - Tony Federici Avalon, ivory Fit was loose but secure.

At the time of the wedding, I was 5'4" wearing 2-inch block heels, and weight 168 lbs, athletic build with 34DDD/36DD bust (41" for dress measurement).
