The Dress

Stunning Sincerity Bridal wedding dress - worn once on my wedding day in July 2023 and then dry cleaned. Chantilly lace and beaded bodice with soft layers of netting skirt.

Felt amazing in this dress. It’s a really beautiful gown, and so much detail around the bodice. It was the wedding dress I always dreamed of.

Pulled me in at the waist, held my boobs perfectly in place (I had supportive cups sewn in). Skimmed over my bum and thighs (my biggest bits). Felt lovely while walking around and dancing. The beading detail is just stunning.

I’m a Next size 18, 36E, and 163cms tall, with quite a big bum. I wore 2 inch heels. The dress was slightly too long, so would be fine if you’re a bit taller (and if you’re shorter you can have it easily shortened).

I originally bought the dress in size 22 thinking I may be pregnant for our wedding, and then also lost a lot of weight. The bridal shop were embarrassed we had bought it so large as I had to have it taken in in all respects. Given i’m a classic Next 18 (Marks & Spencer 16 on top, 18 on bottom) I have listed this as a size 18.

A few small marks on the underskirt (invisible when wearing), a tiny hole in netting towards bottom (also invisible when wearing), and a few beads have come off (I have spares in case you want to sew more on).

Alterations

I had the hem trimmed to my height, but it’s still a bit long. I also had the train trimmed a bit. You can see the train as now in the pics.

I had boob cups sewn in (you can’t see them).
