The Dress

Romantic Alvina Valenta ivory lace dress with drama on the bottom. Has a bit of a train (see pic 2) but can be bustled. Had a jewelled belt added to accentuate the waist. Bought a size 8 but tailored it to fit tight through the bodice.. would fit a size 6 now. Fell absolutely in love with this dress and all the beautiful details like the lace, the horsehair trim on the layers of tulle, the train and buttons down the back. Tight and flattering but was able to move well and dance all night :)

Ceremony and reception were indoors and got professionally dry cleaned after. Dress is in great condition. I’m 5’8.5” and wore flats and the dress was perfect floor length.

It’s taken me some time to concede to selling this dress, I loved it so much… but after seeing it just sit in my closet I’d love more for another bride to find the same joy in it.
