Hi, I wore this dress for my April 2017 wedding. The dress was comfortable and very sparkly (yet vintage-y, due to the tone of beads) in person. The beading is definitely silver-y.
I only wore this the day of the wedding but the mesh/beading overlay did snag slightly during the wedding. There are some missing beads on the bottom 20%, so you may want to re-bead some of the lines at the bottom (I have some replacement beads. as well.) There are so many beads, it's not noticable unless you're looking for it.
I made minimal modifications: I hemmed the dress (I'm 5'4'', and wore 3.5" heels), reinforced the straps and added a bustle clasp.
