The Dress

This dress has it all - it's sexy but tasteful, glitzy but not tacky, and modern yet still very bridal. If you have a similar body type to mine and want to look and feel like a knockout on your wedding day, this is the dress for you!

With a small waist but larger chest (32DDD), it was a real challenge for me to find a sleek (no pouff!!) and modern dress that would accentuate my best assets but also provide the support in the chest I needed. I loved the idea of an open/low back but pretty much ruled this out as impossible for my chest size until I found this dress.

The intricate embellishment on the dress reminds me of a romantic art deco pattern and provides the sparkle of beading without the added weight, making this dress extremely light and comfortable to wear.

I am so very sad to be selling this dress but hope that someone else can feel the way I did in it on their special day.

I had the most amazing seamstress who devised some clever customizations that took this dress over the top. I removed the thin gauzy strap that came standard on the dress (and was frankly quite itchy) and replaced this with a much softer and supportive double satin strap for a more dramatic effect from the back (Photos 3 & 8). I also had a bra sewn in between the layers of the dress which kept my 32DDD chest discretely supported and secure. A cleverly disguised custom bustle (Photo 8) was simple to fasten and made it a breeze to move around in/dance all night without getting stepped on.
